Leonardo Da Vinci codex at the Spanish National Library in MadridSubmitted by Artistic on Sat, 03/03/2012 - 10:18
From May the 28th. until July the 29th., the Spanish National Library will hold the exhibition called "Leonardo's codexes", with two volumes of the Madrid Codex, the name with which the volumes that are stored at the Spanish National Library are known.
This is a unique opportunity to see at the same time many of the pages that compose the two manuscripts from Leonardo, the great italian reinassance artist, that are disassembled for just a brief period of time because they are undergoing a restoration process.
This exhibition is also an opportunity to see the highly specialized restoration processes that are capable of performing at the Spanish National Library's Restoration Laboratory.
For guests staying with us at Artistic Bed and Breakfast, the Spanish National Library is at walking distance from here
